Darlene's Obituary:
Darlene Vivian Jacko, 56, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022. She was born December 4, 1965 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Michael and Vivian (Brinkman) Headings. After High School, Darlene obtained her Associates Degree at CCAC and worked for the Social Security Administration Office as a Claims Supervisor. Darlene loved the beach and their yearly family vacations to Cherry Grove, SC. She enjoyed spending time with family, and loving up on her grandson, Layton. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jeffrey Mark Jacko; daughters, Lindsey (Colin) Lynch of Ross Park Township, and Alyssa Jacko, still at home; grandson, Layton Jeffrey Lynch; her sister, Renee (Gary) Hockey of Apopka, FL; in-laws, Andrew (Lisa) Jacko of Delmont, and Julie (Robert) Diana of McKeesport; and many nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 1-3 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director. Jerry's Obituary:
Gerald Anthony "Jerry" Hess, 47, of North Huntingdon, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011. He is the son of Margaret M. Suchta Hess, of McKeesport, and the late Albert Thomas Hess. He was formerly employed at Allegheny County Airport as a line serviceman and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in North Huntingdon. He is survived by wife, Cynthia Palonis Hess; children, Michael Hess and Stephen Hess, both of North Huntingdon; sisters, Susan (John) Lettiere, of McKeesport, and Sandra (Donald) Dengler, of Middletown, Del.; nephews, Brandon Lettiere and Christopher Dengler; and niece, Caroline Dengler. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION & MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Services will be held at Saturday in Christ United Methodist Church. Entombment will follow in Lebanon Chapel Mausoleum.
