Scott's Obituary:
Scott's Obituary Scott R. Shank, 59, of Penn Township, passed away at home on Monday January 20, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born July 12, 1965 in McKeesport, a son of the late Robert E. and Patricia (Hadad) Shank. He had a 36 year career in law enforcement; he first served the McKeesport Police Department, then moved on to the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General as a Narcotics Agent for 25 years - where he retired in 2015. After retirement from the Attorney General's Office, he was a School Resource Officer at Gateway School District, and ended his career at Seton Hill University where he served as a Police Officer.
Scott enjoyed car shows and martial arts. He was a hard worker who used the skills he learned from his dad to complete countless renovations at his own home, and the homes of many family members and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife Christina C. (Beaumont) Shank; sons Brandyn (Lacy) Shank of Wilkins Twp., Evyn Shank and Ethyn Shank both of Penn Township; sister and brothers Dawn (Jerry) Wonderling of McKeesport, Tracey Shank of Jefferson Hills, and Ryan (Sandy) Shank of Shaler; also cherished nieces, nephews and in-laws. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles. Brian's Obituary Brian Joseph Sita Sr., age 58 of McKeesport, died September 24, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital- McKeesport. Born November 20, 1964, in McKeesport, he was the son of Shirley (Marshall) Sita and the late Francis "Buddy" Sita . Brian worked for Bob's Auto Body as a mechanic. He was the Pastor of the Trinity Lutheran Church for the Deaf in Wilkinsburg. In his free time, Brian enjoyed riding his motorcycles. Brian is survived by his children, Cheyanne Sita, Brittany Sita, and Brian Sita Jr., all of McKeesport; grandchildren, Delilah and Dahlia; siblings, Gary (Kathy) Sita of Northfield, NJ, Sharon (Tom Jaworski) Gobbel of Dundee, MI, and Rich (Christina) Sita of Audubon, NJ; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, October 7 2023, from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Catherine M. Specht, 43, of McKeesport, died Sunday, April 19, 2009, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born June 15, 1965, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Ronald H. Specht, of McKeesport, and Georgiann Kisielnicki, of Versailles Borough. She is also survived by her son, Michael J. Scott, of McKeesport; and aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by an infant son. A secretary/nursing aide at Allegheny General Hospital, she was a member of St. Pius V Parish in McKeesport, the Croatian Fraternal Union in Duquesne, the Duquesne Cro's Bowling League and the Looney Tunes Bowling League of Great Valley Lanes in North Versailles. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport, PA 15132, where a blessing service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Father Edward S. Roy O. Steele, age 58, of McKeesport, died December 2, 2023. Born August 10, 1965, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Roy O. Steele and Rose Marie (Ross) Steele. Roy was an office administrator at Steele City Auto. He loved antique cars and enjoyed collecting coins. Roy is survived by his children, Heather (Chad) Chilleo of Pittsburgh and Chelsea Steele of Glassport; grandchildren, Adalyn, Joseph, and Zachary; sisters Lisa (Tom Boehm) Steele of Port Vue and Tina (Robert) Burgman of Port Vue; nieces and nephews.
